GAMEPLAY
Beginning
Starting off with 7 days of newbie protection, players are advised to follow the routine quest. Many of the quests offer nearly the same or even more resources for the requirement and thus allows the player to accumulate more prestige and progress. Follow the quests and complete as many as possible before depletion of the resources.
Tips on how to Begin:
- Follow the routine quest.
- Build resource fields as quickly as possible to increase production.
- Near the end of the 7 days protection or if the player decides to upgrade to a level 5 town hall it is suggested that players build defense within their walls and train an army of troops.
Alliance
Civony is a game based on alliances. No wonder is it essential to a player's sucess. Joining an alliance gives a player the benefit of learning from others and notification on other surrounding areas. If a player were to be attacked by an alliance, he or she may seek the help of other members.
Tips on how to establish an alliance:
- Create an alliance and broadcast yourself in World Chat.
- Spread your name by mailing other players.
- Give positions to other members, granting them the ability to help recruit.
Rank
Rank can be advanced through quest completion. Rank is required to uplevel title.
Title
Title can be advanced through quest completion. Rank is required to uplevel title. Title offers players with the ability to build another city.
Honor
Honor is gained through the invasion or another player's city. When fighting against another player losing more troops causes a drop in honor. Winning in a fight with less troops gains honor.
Prestige
Prestige is a showing of one's ranking through experience. Accumulating prestige gives ranking to the player among others. It displays how much and how long a player has spent into establishing their city.
Tips on how to gain Prestige:
- Build resource fields using the speed up option to quickly gain prestige.
- Barracks offer a decent amount of prestige for the establishment.
Advantage on how to gain Prestige:
- Save resources for the buildings that require a long period of time. (Do this during sleep)
- Attack NPCs. (It is controversial and attacking an NPC with units equaling on both sides has been said to have a better prestige reward.)
